It's funny, I have stared at this car for many hours but always from the front. I did not realize it had a Chuck Dewitt inspired tail light treatment as well. Looks great!

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Lots of body work to do but I took it out and put the top down for the first time since most the mods began. Carson style top will be next on the agenda once I figure out what kind of $$$ I'm looking at.

    Looks good again!
Just wondering, are you going to get rid off the quarter top beads?
I guess it could look like a smoother without it.

I'm sure you've got a plan for the side trim as spectacular as the rest of the changes.
In the mean time, how do you feel about a simpler front fender piece, to finish the side spear?
(The '49 also had a cleaner option.)

    Damn,i missed that bead thing.
I've noticed that some guys have peeled the bead off with a regular wood chisel.I guess thats the easiest way to do it.

image.jpg I finished converting my sombreros to fit the Ford style wheels and installed some Aerostar coils to lower the front a bit.

All the right moves, Eric! (As always!)
Those new springs will really settle in (down) with a little driving.
Jumping up and down on the bumper just doesn't do it.
(Speaking of the bumper, I've forgotten... What are those great Dagmars from?)

    Dual pipes in the hopper?

(P.S., I can't wait to see the gas filler installed in the door!:D)

Thanks Mo, the new right and left door gas tanks are going to by sweet. Lol. The Dagmars are NOS 53 merc tits. Duel pipes in the spring probably. I lopped 8" off the tail pipe for now.
