If Kinsler is anything like Hilborn, they keep records of every injector they sell. Maybe you could contact them for some info. They couldn't have made many of those. Very cool engine, by the way.

I've seen some interesting cylinder head conversions for the 300 but this one is just plain awesome!

Crane ground the camshafts in January of 1972 for Malcolm Terry. Designed for use with a .625" diameter follower wheel. Regards, Chase

That is SOOO000ooo cool! I thought I knew of every Ford 300 drag car, but I have never seen or heard of this one. The chassis looks like it may have been built around the same era as my "Last Logghe" altered (1978?). Please keep us informed as you continue to uncover the history of it. I would be interested in the brand of chassis, wheels, transmission, etc., past performance, even what you had to give for it if you care to share.

Early on racers realized that the biggest hinderance to this engine's performance was the restrictive cylinder head. I marvel at all the ingenious solutions that racers came up with like cut up V8 Cleveland heads, billet heads, Mopar V8 heads, etc. With the right head these engines are killer.
