It looks like you will be in contention for the long distance award.

As of now, the long range forecast looks very damp. Lets hope it changes.

NHRA , New England Dragway, and racers from all over the country, have worked to make this the most exciting nostalgia drag race in the northeast. I just got word today of some of the featured cars that are coming. There will be front engine top fuelers, nostalgia funny cars, fuel altereds, a gasser circuit with true 60's gassers and a circuit of altered wheel base F/X cars from the mid west, cacklefest cars, hundreds of hot rods, plus much much more. The weather is looking really good for all three days. The rest is up to us... tell your friends and bring your family

Hi Church key which do you think will be the better day if I have to choose to come up with my 39 Tudor to watch the drags and just to see the most old rods etc. Friday or Saturday? Thanks. TEB

Joe,looking forward to seeing you and your dad along with a host of friends I see less frequently these days! Even going to get the missus out Friday for a while, until she gets tired. Saturday my daughter is giving me a reprieve so I can spend the whole day immersed in nostalgia, better than any antidepressant on the market by a long stretch.

I was at the track this morning to drop my trailer off, and left about noon time. I got a call at 5 pm and was told the place is filling up quite nicely. Looking forward to seeing many of you this weekend. If any one is interested we can have a meet and greet at the cacklecar pit area. Saturday morning at 11 am...

We left about 1 ish and the race trailers were actually starting to line up inside to get their credentials.
Even on set up day with a couple of light showers, I saw 6 Willys, an Anglia (Thames) panel, a couple Topolinos and a few T altereds. Not to mention a bunch of FEDs, and all sorts of full body cars. Most guys still had their trailers closed when we left though.
Should be quite a turn out this year. So glad it is Fri Sat Sun. Should help the spectator count for sure.

Hope to see a few HAMBERs here tomorrow morning at 11:00. Today was a great day. Weather was perfect. Ton of race cars. Saw a lot of old friends and met a couple new ones. Shook hands with Jungle Pam. Had a great conversation with Crazy Grampa( and his 57 Corvette looks even better in real life ! ). And for those who can only make it one day, it is only $25.00 for the day. See you tomorrow. Crazy Grampa 57 Corvette.jpg

Just got home. Had to leave the 55 there. Slicks and rain don't mix. Another great day. Rain came late this afternoon, so a lot of activities scheduled for today will most likely take place tomorrow. Weather looks to be a good day.
