I wish her a speedy recovery! And, any progress is progress. We just moved ourselves, so based on my recent experience I wish you good luck on your move.

Good to see something happening Eric. Good luck with the new home and all that. Remember that shops are never big enough :) I hope that things are looking up in the health department too.

  4. Hey there Eric, best wishes for Bobs wifes recovery with the knee, he's just one good sort !
Progress with the g-box is progress indeed. I took my p-glide with me to a swap meet (2 hours away) so I could drop it off for rebuild in that town only to find they were shut, but I meet a mates brother at the swap who has a rebuilt one for $600 complete (half of rebuild cost) so not a waste of time. I'm making slow but steady progress on my 26 too.
This house sounds cool with half an acre and hope that pans out without any fuss. If it doesn't you can come over here and build on a corner of my place, I have 8 acres.
    All the best buddy. JW:D

Bob sent a photo this morning. The 200R4 is painted and ready to go back to the trans shop to be built.

Just a quick cell phone photo, but it's the same deep maroon that the frame is. Yeah, I know it looks black, LOL.

Bob didn't want me posting pics showing washers for spacers that he'll build soon, but I assured him everyone watching knows it's a work in progress.

And the Mustang box is on...

Now before anyone comments on the nuts on the steering box they're only cosmetic. The bolts are threaded into the steering box itself (from the front) and protrude through the mount, so it's all good.

    LARS 2015?

Thanks fellas. Pretty excited to get the wife on the road in her own car!

Hell, with any luck I'll be there too. Worked on my brakes all day and hope to get the shoebox driving again soon. Really sick of not having a rod to drive!

Thanks fellas, remember this is all Bob's hard work and just a little of me screwing with stuff so he gets all the credit!

Not hot rodding, but this is going to take a lot of my time for the next two months. Been a stressful few months but we closed earlier this week and it finally recorded yesterday, so we finally got the keys.

Have a few weeks of renovations to do, then move. It's on .56 acre so I hope to build the shop and pool this winter.

  25. Congrats! Will you need a door in the right rear as well?

  26. Congrats to you Eric , that looks very nice and love the plan for the new outbuilding. Could I suggest an extra door as apart from the three roll-up doors the only way in/out is through the office area. All very cool and hope the move isn't too stressful. JW:):D

Good looking house Eric, I don't think I care for the roof profile of the shop building as drawn.
That roof sloped from the front to the rear like that will not make for a very attractive building appearance IMO.

With a nicely styled house like that why not go with something that would match the house better architecturally.
Maybe a top story that could be used as extra space for whatever.
And maybe a pool house attached to one end to serve the pool :)

Something that would add to the overall curb appeal of the property.
    Just thinking. :)
    Larry.
