It isn't much of a "name" persay but I do refer to my car as her sometimes. I just call her The Poncho.

No. I personally think it's dumb, but whatever floats your boat. The closest I come to naming my cars is naming their build threads just so it's easier to keep track of them.

  7. This past December I survived (1 out of 20) a serious cardiac event that was described to me by my cardiologist as an Idiosyncrasy (sorry about your luck). An idiosyncrasy is an unusual feature(s) of a person or object. The term is often used to express peculiarity.
Since the Hairy Cherry has so many peculiarities unique to it what a better name than IDIOSYNCRASY ?

It is silly to name a car but I had a cat once named Fred so I guess Fred would be good for the car too.

My 56 Pontiac is named Lili after Lili St Cyr. She had kind of a butt chin and my car won a scrap with a telephone pole with the previous owner's son learning to drive it. The car had a butt chin too when I bought it, so that's where the name came from.

  17. I like to call em what they came from the factory as. My Hudson is the Hudson, my Chevy is the Chevy, but the OT thing I drive the kid to daycare on the wet days is called Jap s..t!

Not so much a name but my build photo diary is titled 'Fifty Shades Of White'
The Pontiac has had a few touch ups over the years and no one seems to have managed to get the colour quite right! It's like a bad version of panel painting.

  20. TnT for the bucket, and 'A Terra for the Tudor I'm building, 28 Tudor with a bunch of Terraplane parts incorporated into it.

When things are not going well, sonofa---ch or POS comes to mind, But I always get over it and remind myself that this is my passion/hobby, always fun, a man has to have a reason to get up and keep on keepin on. John
