Here's another little bit of what I've been working on.

I've had this steering wheel for years and I had planned to restore it for my 40 Merc project.

Then a crusty mercury accessory wheel popped up on eBay and didn't sell... I email the guy, he called me and we started talking. Here he has a shoebox ford (and is a member here on the hamb) and wanted a crestliner wheel. Long story short, I gave him a little money and my wheel in exchange for a wheel I've been hunting for years! ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1403298874.543652.jpg

Have you forsaken us here for more "instant" feedback, minamyer? Don't forget your old HAMB buddies while giving others rides. I know there are some here who don't participate on more "social" media who would love to see (and hear) your Merc cruising (even if it isn't "finished").

I will shortly be organizing the torches and pitchforks...

(when I get back from Bonneville).

Sorry guys I have dropped the ball on this build thread.
I have no idea how to post videos or I would. I took the car for its maiden voyage last week... It was awesome!!
The car is far from done but It sure has been nice to put a few miles on it.

    Yes, it is.

Someone talented with photoshop or whatever (certainly not me) colorize that gorgeous 3/4 rear view in deep Forest Green, or Honduras Maroon.

I bet JJ could help you add a vid.

I was really happy to see the car out doing car things. I bet you were giggling like a little girl....

Yes I was! Giggling and raising hell on union street! Even caught a picture of the illusive jeffreyjames break dancing in the middle of the road while taking pictures and videos!

I really dig this car. Its got a nice clean chop not to low and flows so smooth. Great stance looks killer goin down the road in that video.
