Unfortunately, I broke the gear box main shaft 1day before the Pendine Race. So I have not been able to run.... just pushed by my friends 27 roadster......

I will work on it this winter to be ready for the next edition. So I search a 40's Ford gear box (with the side shift lever) to swap my french ford gear box....

To bad you're so far away, I have a 40's three speed trans with the side shifter that I'm not going to use. By the way, love the pics and even though you were pushed and towed it looks really sweet! Good luck on next year.

Very very nice as a fast Lakester owner myself I know how much work you put into the car. Just getting her out into the day light is a huge step once you get the gear box issues sorted your going to have a ball driving the car.

Fantastic - I've been admiring your work for a while now!
Sorry to hear about your gearbox issues. If SCTA doesn't allow it, and you want something more than Pendine, you could always ship it over to South Africa for Kalahari Desert Speedweek at Hakskeenpan;) (same place BloodhoundSSC will be shooting for 1000mph!)

Rand to Euro at around 14:1 might make this a whole lot more financially viable than you might think:D

Yesterday I happen to be looking for some specific pictures of the Eddie Miller Streamliner (since I'm sort of obsessed with it) and I stumbled on a French thread that you posted this on. Couldn't read a word (HAHA), but MAN O MAN!!! I'm so glad to see you posted it here. SOOO bad ass! Fantastic job! I'm blown away.

What are you doing with the car now?

    WELL DONE!!!
