We run a pop-off-by the time a burst panel would blow, I figure my engine would be destroyed!

Tim, you folks are doing great work, and the car looks great!

Still putting the car back together , Had to take part of a X brace out ( that I just put in:mad: )to fit the new clutch pedal, Between the scattershield and the braces we have been pulling our hair out fitting everything back in the car, plus working with a pulled back doesn't help, If it wasn't for Beth, this thing would be on hold for a bit, Finally got the cockpit back together ,Now the next pain in the ass, putting the dragster body back on, most of the spots I screwed the panels on have a brace in the way on one panel ,We'll have to change to dzus buttons in those spots, Plus have to change the hole where the steering came through the side, But all this made the car safer:D,,,, Tim Jones

Today I finished sorting out the dragster body panel mounts that had to be changed, Added a few dzus fasteners and put a couple self ejecting ones on the front ones under the motor, after we get the body panels back on we'll put the fiat body on and see what if anything needs to be changed because of moving the steering,, Tim Jones

Well back to the Hopefully last of the changes:rolleyes:, Cut the pitman arm so we could change how it all lines up,then cut the draglink so I can redo the lenght, then cut out the section of firewall where the steering runs into it after moveing it back, Just have to weld in some alum firewall pieces to make some room for the pitman arm swing ,,,,Man all this work because of a scattershield:D,, Tim Jones

Finally the last of the changes are done:confused:, My buddy Garrett welded the pitman arm and the drag link, I bent up a piece of alum to cover the steering, just need to weld it where it hits the wheelwell, then on to getting this pig running again,, FINALLY!!:D,,, Tim Jones

We finally got to put the piecrusts on I bought last fall and being the slotted wheels weren't the right bolt pattern ( they were on with adapters) We decided to go with smooth steel wheels painted semi flat black, Give the car an old time look,, Beth and Tim

Thanks Guys, I was trying to find some 5 on 5 slots that wern't to high priced:rolleyes: but had no luck and when I did find them I didn't have the money:(, With these tires we gained a few inchs of ground clearance in the back also, the M&H's were only 27 tall plus they were pretty old,, Tim Jones
