The HAMB Meet and Greet has usually been at 1:00 pm on Saturday on the porch of the administration building.
The administration building is just west of the rotating Pepsi clock at the triangle intersection.

 

NOTE --- for you fellas coming in from out of town the Fairgrounds is about 3 miles to the east of down town Desmoines. If you have a thoughts of checking out the downtown city of DesMoines, my suggestion is do it from a distance.

Also this weekend is the 80/35 music festival which means there will be quite a few streets blocked off in the city.
Various streets are blocked off with over 50 bands playing through out the weekend.

DES MOINES, Iowa —The seventh annual 80/35 concert series is Friday in Western Gateway Park in Des Moines.

The following downtown streets will be closed for through access during the dates and times listed below:

Effective midnight Tuesday through 6 a.m. Monday, July 7:

12th Street, Locust Street to Grand Avenue

Effective midnight Wednesday through 6 a.m. Monday, July 7:

Locust Street, 15th Street to 10th Street

Grand Avenue, 10th Street to 14th Street (only south parking lane & one traffic lane)

13th Street, Grand Avenue to Walnut Street

12th Street, Walnut Street to Locust Street

10th Street, Locust Street to Walnut Street

The festival will feature more than 50 national, regional and local acts performing on three stages: one main stage and two free stages.

HAMB Meet and Greets in the past there have been up to 20-25 HAMB'rs and a few years maybe 6-7 HAMB'rs.
