29 RPU - late 50s style hotrod. I went through a few design changes as I built it -in the end went with a simple stock body with lowered suspension, 40 steel wheels (soon to be black) and a sbc.

Mad Mikey That coupe is Bad ass! Lets see it with the Zoomies. How about a running video for some inspiration to us lazy builders.

30-31 chopped Model A Coupe on 32 rails... sort of late 40s early 50s traditional style... but I'm an artist and have never been a purist... so I might paint outside the lines a lil bit... After all "my shop my rules!" & my. $ my rules! Ha!

Your survey was too simple so I hafta laborate. Don't know if I told ya: In Fla building a black '29 highboy AV8 coupe on boxed stock frame, fresh 4" chop, early '50s style except 3.0 9" and S10 T5. 8BA with 2 97s on block letter Edelbrock, old dual point Mallory, fabbed headers, Orig '32 grille, shell & V8 radiator. 682-Js, '39 Ford taillights, Hollywood 42 license light. '39 Ford shifter. I took over started project from nice guy in Ogdensburg, Wisconsin. I missed my '34 too much so had to do this one.
    Not done but havin' fun.

  27. Fun is what it all about, when it stops being fun stop doing it.

I think that A bones in general have been popular for a long time, could be price or availability or it could be vehicle weight. Here is an interesting tidbit, the 28/29 is narrower through the cowl but for the longest time the '30/31 was the more popular body. I assume that it had to do with leg room, but from a go fast point of view you would have thought that the 28/29 body would have the more popular body.

  30. Did you sell the 34????

The A coupe sounds very cool... but are you going to leave it out in the Florida sun so it resembles your avitar?

The 30/31 is my favorite mainly because of the cowl... but I love the 28/29 fenders on a 30/31 with a 32 truck grill!
