Wesley definitely knows that car.. he is quite a builder himself. He built a street legal sprint car from scratch! Very cool!

    • I have been going to send you a note for some time but I am afraid of the computer. I also have deuce 5w that don built. Wesley helped him build the 5w I own in 1968-1969. He drove my 5w to high school. He is a great guy and very helpfull as is his brother Johnny.

it is a cool car and a good story. But a long one. My computer skills are not good same as my writing and spelling skills never used it much in my life. I know some people on here wana kick your butt for not being correct so I just read. My son just got a 32 3w that had been hiden away for over 50 years. It is a real cool car and story also. He and and the Deluxe speed shop boys just rebuilt it mechanicaly in time to get to deuce days in Liberal KS. hope we can talk someday

    Mark,
    Nice job on the exhaust.
    J3harleys,
    Nice 5w!

  13. Got the exhaust from the mufflers back completed today! Will wait to get the motor in before doing the motor to the mufflers. Everything is taking me at least twice as long to do with this shoulder thing. Even had the wife holding a muffler for me while I got the bolt in the hanger.

    Hey Mark,
Glad you are feeling better and the coupe project looks mighty fine !

  16. Thanks Big Daddy! I am behind on the coupe for sure. Expected to be driving it by now. At this point I am in no rush. Working on it is difficult at best. Hope to get into the carbs and top end of the motor next. I am glad I have the roadster to use this summer.

  21. Well it has been a while for sure! I have caught up with most of the yard work etc. Had a fellow HAMBer help out with the top of the motor (Thanks Ron). I now have just enough strength back to be able to spin the engine on it's stand. So I am getting it ready to paint and go back together. Another day of prep and the red paint will fly!
