Wow, the new site looks incredible. You really knocked it out of the park. I'm kind of disappointed I don't see my patented Comic Sans font available though. :(

Yeah, I'm not far from it. Another hour or two of testing and I'm gonna sleep.

Thank you man. That means a lot... I'm really proud of the design and think once we get this thing tuned, I am going to be really proud of the software too.

Ha! As a designer, I love the fact that comic sans is gone!

    ....

Seriously though guys - thanks for the nice words. I fielded some amazingly nasty emails today before the site even launched... and after spending 7 days and 7 nights with a grand total of about 22 hours of sleep working on this thing, it was very hard to keep my cool. It feels good to hear you late guys are digging it.

  13. Great job guys, but just have a look at the social groups looks like a few posts are mixed up. I looked in modifieds and there is a lot of posts from Hamb Chapel mixed in. Just another bug probably:eek:

Yes, there is a little eye glasses symbol just to left of the replies box if you are watching that thread.

    Yes, there are...

I decided to clean perge all of the old classified ads so that I could use a new feature making all users enter a price in the price box. Ironically, it was a large price to pay. :)

You got an accidental sneak peek of the social forums. They aren't quite ready to go live yet. I'm hoping to have them ready by the end of the week.

How do you access your profile in order to change your signature or avatar? My signature is for an old ad that was purged in the update.

Welcome back! I ain't gonna lie, it's been hard for a confirmed HAMB addict, although not as hard as it was for you to pull this off.
It's been a couple of years since my last Alliance sub and a renewal is very overdue but you'll have to wait until the end of next month (tax).
Meantime I'm having a look around.:)

How come it says I am a new member under my avatar which isn't my avatar. It still has my signature.

I wasn't stressed until about four hours ago when we had a flash flood. You aren't going to believe me, but I pressed the "go live" button with my ankles in water...

It just stopped raining and the site finally works as it should. Stress is gone.

We lost some avatars in the move. That's a known bug. Sorry.

As for user titles, I've always ignored those and am thinking about getting rid of them all together. They aren't setup yet.

Roll your mouse over the icon that looks like a dude sitting there up top. See:

    Ryan,
I guess that old adage is true, when it rains it pours. Glad you got through it all, hope the flooding stops and you can get a break in the action. Awesome job!

  27. Are all the ads on the app a permanent thing or just something that got through the net? If they're a necessary evil so be it but they're kinda annoying. By the way, loving the new layout otherwise.

sent via classroom note. pass it on

  28. I like the bigger print.
Can take my glasses off now..

Those ads ARE NOT coming from me. I'm currently in a fight with Tapatalk about them. Apparently, they dig on making money off me.

    Great job, Ryan.

So now the subscribed threads are now watched threads?

Thanks for all the work you do to make this place what it is.

    Mart.
