Unrestored 1932 Chevy Coupe – Olds Powered!

Who doesn’t love a clean, full-fendered 5 window Deuce coupe? Just when you think Ford had the market cornered on hot rod 32’s in the late Fifties, I come across this beauty. Recently freshened up from a near 45 year slumber and put for sale in Reno, this baby appears pretty much as she was built around 1959. I love the subtle details like chrome hood vents, ’59 Impala steering wheel (no tilt column here, my friends), and 4×2 intake topped with 97’s. Period correct bits like the chromed generator, 3 speed tranny, Pontiac taillights, and the big number SW gauges give this baby the right late 50s feel… The parallel leaf front suspension is still intact, but hidden by the stock fenders and generously dropped axle, bringing that classic California rake into focus. I think the real icing on this ‘small block orange’ cake is the ’57 Olds motor under the hood. Hey, its 1959, so why go for a pewny 283 Chevy motor when you can have a 371 cubic inch Golden Rocket at your disposal?

Olds in a Chevy. Very cool…
