Hao Wela!

I’m out, fellas—headed for the Atomic Pacific Outpost. The hell-state can sweat on without me for a while.
That said, the shipping & receiving department here at The Jalopy Journal is officially shuttered until August. You can still toss orders into the void, just don’t expect anything to hit your porch until I’m back in the saddle. Same goes for Alliance tags—just hang tight.
But here’s the good news: Next week, from the island, we’re diving back into the Tom Cobbs photo archive. Those dusty directories have been eyeing me from the corner for weeks—daring me to dig in. It’s finally time. And if my gut’s right, it’s gonna be completely unhinged.
Until then, check out a film I’ve probably posted before—but it’s worth revisiting. Hao Wela traces the roots of hot rodding in Hawaii. Paradise and pistons, baby. Let’s go.
