Master Engine Builder Ed Pink has passed away…

You might have already seen the news that famed engine guru Ed Pink passed away at 94 years old. Ed, aka “The Old Master”, got his chops working for Vic Edelbrock, Eddie Meyer, Bobby Meeks and others in the early 50s, building V8 race motors for the dry lakes and then Bonneville. Ed followed hot rodding as it transitioned to the 1960s with NHRA at the drag strip, where he build the most winning engines of them all right up through the 426 Hemi, Ford 427 Cammers, and Top Fuel cars. From there Pink went on to build for Can-Am, Formula 5000 and even Cosworth engines for Indy… Pretty much anything with pistons could be made faster with Ed. God Speed, Old Master…
