Flipping through the 1949 So-Cal catalog

I’ve tried to photograph old Speed Shop catalogs and share them on here, to varying degrees of success. Truth be told, I would hate to tear apart one of my 70 year old pieces of hot rod literature just to get a clean scan, so I end up getting harsh shadows and warped page images in the process turning them into jpegs. Someone has come up with a better way of doing this than a bunch of individual images, and I just had to share. Check out Speed & Kulture’s So-Cal Speed Shop catalog from 1949- The very first one that Alex Xydias produced!
