The NSRA is in Spain??!

Hello from sunny Barcelona, Spain! I’m here for work this week, and always happy to see hot rod culture alive in places like this. It goes without saying that we are spoiled in the USA when building a custom car- Just go to the Jalopy Journal classifieds, flip through a catalog or hit the local swap meet, and just about any part you happen to want is available. That’s obviously not the case when you live in many parts of the world, and that’s why it warmed my heart to see that the National Street Rod Association is alive and well in Spain. As you watch the sand oval track video below, keep in mind that they welcome all pre-72 American vehicles as well as a few European customs, so you’ll see some non-HAMB compliant cars. Still, if I lived in Spain, these are guys I would want to hang out with… Enjoy!
