More 50s Drag Racing in Color!

I spend a fair amount of time tracking down these old 8mm drag racing clips for the Jalopy Journal. It’s satisfying to uncover historic hot rod footage not seen in 60 or 70 years, let alone clips that haven’t already been shared on the HAMB! Today I bring you another color film from the Driskill Archive, circa 1955, and it’s indeed worth the watch. So many killer drag cars in this short bit of celluloid. I’m guessing this was shot in Texas or Oklahoma(?), but please reply below if you recognize the specific drag strip location.
