Austin Rules

You guys are probably sick of hearing about it, but Austin really does rule. This past Friday, we proved it again. See, a pal got sick and needed some help with the hospital bills. He didn’t ask for it and he wasn’t incredibly keen on accepting it, but the gals and guys of Austin were gonna make damn sure he got it. The folks at Austin Speed Shop teamed up with the Yay-Hoos car club and put together a benefit this past Friday. It was simple… Roll up in your hot rod, give a few beans to the cause, bid on some auctions, hang out with pals, listen to Jade Idol, and have one hell of a good time all while helping out one of our own. It takes a village and this damn village rules.

Now I know this probably isn’t of much interest to most of you out there, but I felt it was important to give this post to the folks that made this deal happen. I love this and it’s because of you guys.
