Summer 2022 Pictorial, Part I

I keep reminding myself that summer isn’t over yet. August 1^st is right around the corner, and I feel like I’ve packed more fun into the past two months than I have in years. As I was brainstorming today’s article, I was trying to figure out just how many states I’ve visited since summer officially began.

Minnesota. Illinois. Idaho. Iowa. Missouri. Indiana. Ohio. Michigan. Next up, we have Florida and Kentucky before winding things down with a leisurely trip to the RPM Nationals in September. Rather than counting states, airports and miles, I thought of how many friends I got to spend time with. That’s the most important part.

I usually wait until the end of the season to post a big pictorial, but I feel like now is the perfect time to introduce Part I. This is by no means a comprehensive collection. Instead, it’s a behind-the-scenes glimpse into some of my favorite people, places, machines and moments from my travels.

I’m fortunate to get to do what I do. Summer days. Old cars. Good friends and, more often than not, a camera in hand. So, without further ado, let’s take a H.A.M.B road trip to here, there and everywhere.
