Oddly Satisfying: Stop Motion SBC Rebuild

It’s just my opinion, but there is something mesmerizing about car parts (or any mechanical bits) dancing about on their own – It reminds me of the closing scene from The Iron Giant, as the battered robot sends a signal calling his scattered components to come back to him, one by one. There is also something that is also soothing and satisfying about seeing a greasy pig of a motor get a completely new lease on life, such as this 1966 small block Chevy you’ll see getting a full rebuild below. We all know the ‘SBC’ as one of the longest-lasting and most reliable V8 motors in the world, so I imagine this little engine is good for at least another 56 years or so…
