Pre-Registration: The Drags & The Revo…

It’s 1961. You arrive at your local drag strip early as this isn’t a typical test and tune. Tommy Ivo and “Big Daddy” Don Garlits are match racing and the whole county has shown up to welcome the out-of-towners. Once in, you notice the whole joint has been spiffed up to impress the big timers – fresh paint on the concession stand, replaced planks on the bleachers, freshly raked gravel in the pits, etc… Hell, even the chicks are made-up a little sharper with hopes of catching an eye.

“Maybe one of the big timers will get me out of this god forsaken little town,” they think. All they figure they need to do is show a little skin and turn on the pearly whites. Who could resist?

And essentially, that’s what we are doing with this post – showing a little skin… Our 2009 events are gonna be something else fellas and you can now pre-register for both of them.

The 2009 H.A.M.B. Drag Nationals are going down on August 22 and promise to be one of our best yet. Sure, we’ve got a “big time” car or two committed to showing this year, but we are still focused on the little guy. There is no drag race in the country like the H.A.M.B. Drags.

The 2009 Hot Rod Revolution happens on September 26. This one is going to be just down-right charming… Think of 100 to 150 of the highest quality pre-48 hot rods you can imagine and a quaint old ballpark. Now, add some good folks and a laid back atmosphere. That’s the Revolution. And this year we have some HUGE surprises planned. Don’t miss it suckas…
