More Cars Spotting on the Streets of L.A.!
Alright, first my apologies if you’re getting sick of me sharing these vintage driving films, but I just had to share this gem. Los Angeles again, this time in the Spring of 1952, cruising the iconic Sunset Boulevard, and SO many really great cars on the street; It’s like a rolling scene from LA Confidential. The billboards, the Southern California architecture, the neon signs, the travel trailer dealership… It’s all too cool. Look close and you’ll see a ’40 Mercury coupe that’s been lowered in the back, fender skirts, custom bumpers and shortened hood trim. There’s a few mild custom ’40 Fords hanging around, too. Again there are plenty of Shoebox Fords, Woodies, and convertibles. Can anyone identify the little roadster parked across the street at 2:27?
