When Jessi went to Bonneville…

We are approaching the two year anniversary that fabricator, racer, and TV host Jessi Combs tragically died attempting to finalize her land speed record above 522 mph in the North American Eagle jet-powered car, on the Alvord Dry Lakebed in Oregon, August 27th, 2019. She was pioneer for women in the world of car culture and in motorsport, and she was loved by just about everybody who knew her. Back when Jessi was still new to land speed racing, she made her very first attempt at Bonneville 2013 in a ’32 Roadster going for her Class ‘C’ Racing License, and it was documented on her Autoblog show ‘The List’.

Seeing that we just had a great Bonneville Speed Week coinciding with the anniversary of her passing, it seemed like an appropriate time to show this… God Speed, Jessi
