The Unloved Nifty ‘Fifty

So February, 1961 issue of Rod & Custom Magazine… It’s only a two page spread and though they sent Ralph Poole out to photograph the car, the editors of the rag didn’t think it called for an authored write-up of any kind – it’s just a few photos and a sidebar caption.

I dunno… Just seems like the car deserved more to me. So here I am, on a cold Wednesday morning, giving Jere Ehrich’s shoebox the attention it deserves. And while I’ve never been a huge fan of finned Fords, I’ve never met a shoebox donning DeSoto trim that I didn’t like.
