A Parade of Progress – To the Future…

Ryan’s post yesterday contained Chet Cochrane’s goodbye letter, which really struck me. Maybe it was because my elderly aunt also died from Covid 19, and perhaps the fact that she too was from the ‘Greatest Generation’. I’ll also venture to say that the majority of us on the HAMB really admire what was achieved technologically in America’s postwar boom, or you wouldn’t dig traditional hot rods and custom cars. Let’s raise a glass to Chet, and the all the Automotive engineers, designers, and technicians of the 40s, 50s and 60s… They created the parade of futuristic progress that we are still enjoying today… Motor on!
