The Music of Radiator Springs Racers

For five years between 2007 and 2012, I was part of the creative team for the creation of ‘Cars Land’ inside Disney’s California Adventure, across from Disneyland. To say it was a labor of love for a gearhead like me would be a gross understatement, and I’m very, very grateful to have been a small part of it. Among the many fun projects for Cars Land was picking music for each area of the land, and my favorite section in particular was the old timey tunes in the Radiator Springs Racers cue area. This is where we could play pre-war and early post-war songs about cars to help put our guests in the mood as they are waiting for their turn on the ride. I’ve attached a few of those songs below for your listening enjoyment… Even if you think it’s not your type of music, just give them a spin.
