The Acme Speed Shop Roadtrip

It’s Round Up week. That means two things… First, shit it is crazy around here. I mean, you can’t fart in Travis county without stinking up someone’s rod or custom from out of state. And it’s only Monday. You can imagine how crazy it will be later in the week when the stragglers start rolling in and the booze starts flowing at the Continental.

Secondly, that also means Mearns has started his annual roadtrip from the Pacific Northwest down into Texas. It’s an adventure that I think might be better lived vicariously through the HAMB than sitting shotgun in John’s old van. I mean, you can get all the sights and sounds from the comfort of… wherever the hell you are… without having to deal with the cold of the northwest or the heat of the desert plains.
