Keeping it Forever, part 4

Keeping it Forever, part 4

I just came across another video that relates very well to the ‘keeping a car in the family’ stories I’ve shared recently. Of course with my luck, this video has already been posted on the HAMB, but when I saw this, it was too good to not share again. It’s the complete story of a Model A Roadster that’s stayed in a family since 1937, including it’s theft, recovery, and restoration. I love the fact that the guys daughter owns this car and was so passionate about finding and restoring it. It would have been even cooler if she and the husband had put it back to exactly how her dad had the car originally styled for so many years: Stock front axle, 16″ Ford wire wheels, bent windshield posts, ’29 style door handles, and the 40s-era bumpers. At least they kinda matched the original yellow paint color and red interior… Again, you know this is a car that she will do anything to keep safe in her family forever. And that is priceless.
