Classified Scavenger

This one popped up in the H.A.M.B. classifieds a week or so ago and I’m amazed it isn’t gone yet. I’ve always loved these cars… And I believe it was this same model that was the first NHRA safety safari car – am I wrong? Who cares. Still cool.

I’d make a few minor changes. I would get it a little closer to the ground, add black steel wheels with black walls, and maybe add one of those vintage oak roof racks. You know, the jobs you see on a lot of restored VW bugs? It would be the perfect daily car for when I move to Hawaii…

I bet you could get away clean for $7500.
