Hot Rod Derby on the Salt Flats

Just last night I stumbled upon a great article covering the 1950 Bonneville Nationals in an old copy of Popular Mechanics. I thought I had found the perfect subject for today’s blog. Well, I did… but amazingly “mynameisnotpete” found the same article and got it posted before I could. I was scooped!!!

Regardless, the guy (who’s name is apparently not pete, so I’ll call him Joe instead) did a pretty damn nice job scanning the article and uploading it. You’ll want to read this one.
