Ryan is on the long road home from a successful flathead built, so I’m on duty for this morning. A big thanks goes to our good pal Cole Foster, who sent along this great French documentary film shot at Lions Dragstrip in 1966, at the height of the Gasser and FED rail job era. This is when Hemi’s on nitro were king, and nobody had heard of a ‘funny car’ yet… If your the least bit of a Drag Nut, you’ll recognize a few milestone cars in this footage. Its well shot, and despite the interviews being overdubbed in French, there’s plenty to like here.
