Hubcaps – The Latest & Greatest

The August, 1957 issue of Rod & Custom Magazine features maybe the ugliest custom ever built on the cover. Ironically, the feature article is titled, “Connecticuts’ Classiest Custom.” The pink monstrosity is anything but… and, as such, I’ve never paid much attention to the issue. I judge a book by it’s cover… damnit.

This morning, I cracked the issue open for the hell of it and stumpled upon a great little photo spread on hubcap combinations and styles. I was so tickled, that I thought it deserved a post. Enjoy:
