Goodwood & Back To The 50’s

Two great shows this weekend and the H.A.M.B. has got them both covered. The first is a show that I have always wanted to attend – Goodwood Festival of Speed. Every summer modern and vintage race cars gather in the lawn of Lord March’s crib in southern England and take turns racing up his driveway. It’s kind of a “hoity toity” affair, but one that can get away with it. Check out some great coverage here and here.

And then of course there is the Back To The 50’s show in Minnesota. I wouldn’t be surprised if this wasn’t the largest car show in the country, but I’ve heard tons of reports that it is also one of the best ran. Judging from the coverage, they had a really nice turn out of traditional cars. Check it out.
