I am told that an early ford 5 speed should bolt right up and all thet is needed is to drill one hole any one know if this is true

  6. Why not stay traditional and use a 57 Ford 3spd with overdrive, Borg Warner T-85 that will bolt right in......

Don't forget the s10 t5 has a longer input than a standard Chevy trans! Some early ford t5 s will bolt up some have a longer input like the Chevy ones, not sure which though.
