Not mine , only the 2 '32 roadsters . I bought the full fender car for the body only . I took the Brookville body off the Ardun build and used the original '32 body , top and a few of the original parts . Put the Brookville body on the full fender car chassis and sold it . It was the only way I could get a real roadster body .

I love Kelseys, and the finish looks beautiful on that set. If they're black, I like them best with rings and caps:

I'll try to find some. I found that pic here, there were more, IIRC it was in Tom Davidsons coverage of a Rodders Journal show a couple years ago. Slick little car.

  16. Hey dudley32,
Back in the early '60s a neighbor had a '59
    bugeye with a FACTORY supercharger!
He had the "big" 1200? cc engine.
It surprised a lot of early hot rod guys
at the stop lights! He had a hell of a time
    keeping the rear from spinning!
And your car could be "HAMB Friendly!"
Bitchin' little car, and it's already got numbers!
    Just sayin!

Thanks Tony...always good to get others opinions....Im really liking this car....drives nice, little stiff legged, but thats the nature of the beast. Ive been driving it more and more and venturing farther away from the garage as I become more accustomed to it and more trusting in it. Its a great car thanks again Ron

This is my recently rebuilt '32 Pickup. It has the original 18" wires all around. The rears were widened to 5" (originally 3.5") by Danny Burroughs at Bruce's Rod Shop in Texas. Front tires are 4.50-18 Lucas and the rears are 7.00-18 STA truck tires from Coker. Caps are new '33 from Drake.

  26. Thanks for a great thread Larry! I love wires!
Here's my Kelsey-Hayes adjustable spokes that have been re-spoked to fit 15" rims.

I sold the roadster but kept the wheels, so now they are on my Fordor.

Here's wires on three of my Deuces.
