Backseat of a 1962 Galaxie makes a great bed if your dog tired.

I nap in every car I have ever built for myself. It's how I know if the seat is right for comfortable long trips.

when the step daughter moved in with her 3 little rugrats, I moved out of the house and slept in the backseat of a '42 Cadillac for about 6 months. . I would have slept in the '48 Packard hearse but I have it stripped down including the floor.

When I was a kid, we built a house, and before it was done my brother and I slept in a 61 chevy for a while, my other brother and sister slept in a 67 Plymouth wagon. Our folks got the tent.

Well none of my cars have a big enough backseat to sleep in, if I put matress out there the wife would definately ask what the hell was going on.

Sure have more than once:rolleyes:....I really 'do' need to take that old recliner out of the garage....I sit down for some 'power thinking' about my car build, when I'm suddenly called for supper after my 'thinkin' time!!!

  19. Moriarity,
Not many of us can build a matching "house" for our cars and toys like you have. I still have dreams about the time I got to come see your place.

I'm pretty sure someone is sleeping in my garage because nothing is ever where I left it yesterday.

have done it several times , unintentially , but whats worse was sleeping at work , as I was too tired to drive home and slept in one of our trucks ( semi w/sleeper) but I have slept at work many years as a road driver ) also having a truck with a sleeper was good when the power went out here for 3 days ( electric heat) , all the neighbors went and got a motel , I watched the properties and the generator on the well house to make sure it didn't freeze .

If you fall asleep on your creeper and wake up too fast you will have a square dent in your forehead from a Muncie drain plug.
