Man, that looked a really clean one to start with. You have had some really nice Deuces.

 

I'm not too sure what that S. Carolina jargon means, but the 3-w is super fine. I really love the two oilbath air cleaners.

 

I started in '80 on my first Deuce, a Wescott. It cost $2,500 back then. The stage 3 Deuce Factory frame was the same price. Right away I sold everything and retired from old cars. When I decided to buy another Deuce roadster, I priced the Wescott in 2009. It was $9,500, six hundred less than a Brookville, so I went with steel. That IS the best 'glass body around. Good luck.

 

Now THAT is what is known as a dropped headlight bar ! ! !

 

I do believe the word "rescue" should be adopted for such builds. I take off my helmet liner to these metal magicians. So many of you out there.

Here is mine. Body just went back on after paint. Spent last week wiring.

 

Mocked up some parts today to get measurements and rolled it outside for a look.

Project Low Buck 32 is almost done after a rebuild.

 

Here's mine - it's been on the road for a few years at stock height, but now part way through a roof chop.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you take out of the roof??? Trying to figure out how much to take out of mine.

 

Chassis is coming along nice. Time for Tim and Greg to set up the steering box. Today we put the dummy block and tranny in place then dug out the body and set it on the frame. Tim is liking what he sees and after the car event we attended yesterday, he is motivated.

now i can say im actually working on one of my 32s, gonna take it to The Race Of Gentlmen, so i wanted to tidy it up some.
