Bluebird is a sedan. This is just known as a 1200 truck, or by the model code PLG222. The bluebird line starts as a 310 I think.

    purple,

I almost bought a pickup like yours years ago when on Maui,

there was a Bluebird chrome insignia on the front fender,

either someone put it on there or they share the same sheet metal

and it had a car front on it 'cause it sure looks the same..

please say you're using a traditional vintage Mazda rotory in it! [IMG]

I would say it was put there. The 320 truck had a really close nose, but not identical. My truck does share the nose with my 59 L210 sedans. They are the model below the Bluebird with the stubby truck. RATDAT Go here, click history, then 59-72, then at the bottom of that page click for the pics of all models. I have my choice of engines, the Olds 350, the Chevy 350, or one of my Datsun 4 bangers. But of course bigger will win, especially if I aquire something bigger. [IMG]

Glenn, looks good! Here's a recent one of my '39 Willys pickup. Plan to have it at Goodguys-Puyallup and the Hot Rod-A-Rama this summer. Dave
