Austin Motel is sold out! Not sure if it's for this event or not. Last year we had no problem getting in there.

I was just wondering where everyone was planning on staying.

Guys there is also a La Quinta on S.Mopac at Southwest Parkway. About a 5-10 minute drive from Mabry and 5-10 minutes over to Congress.

You know a room isn't going to be nice if it cost you 89 a night lol

Are you just assuming since its a low price or do you actually know? Its a Marriott chain hotel and I have been staying at this hotel for the last 4 years when i go to roundup(austin motel when I can) and Day of the drags...Its very convenient to the Domain and easy access to MoPac to get to Salt Lick...

I set up a room block at Embassy Suites like we do for Roundup
Just call the 800 number and tell them it's for Hot Rod Revolution
    1-800-Embassy (1-800-362-2779)

Rate is $169 for King Suite and includes parking/wi-fi/full breakfast etc. as always

We are at the Country Inn right off 35. Sounds like a motel parking lot party/car show in the works.... :D

Actually, anything in the Marriott family (Fairfield) is going to be pretty decent.

Take it from a guy that travels for a living. I only stay at Marriott properties for a reason, and it's not just because of the frequent stay points (although that helps a lot).

DaddyO Quote to the guy in the Joplin Hotel Lobby:
"Who are you the (#$#$! Enforcer?!!"

At that point I couldn't play anymore because I couldn't quit laughing and couldn't see for the tears.............
