But after watching that thread of Gene Winfield Cutting up a '58 Chevy, I'm thinking of changing over to THIS one...[IMG]

I have a few 1,000 pictures I've taken at car shows over the years. I keep my screen saver at work set to slide show. When someone comes into my office, I turn around and give them my undivided attention. It's not long before they're looking over my shoulder at the photos on the computer monitor.

just changed it this evening to a picture of me with my 5 and 7 year old boys in the showroom of the antique car dealership I work at. With a 56 Chevy, 63 Split Window, and 53 Ford P/U in the background.

Mine is somewhat OT but I like it, a pic I took of the 'office' at work when I was posted to the Australian Army Parachute Training School(I was Staff). A fun posting!!

As a Test Engineer for a power sports manufacturer I have had some pretty cool vehicles on our chassis dynos. However, I have never been allowed to hook up anything as cool as a Cammer powered FED and as such, this picture from Hot Rod magazine is on the background of my work laptop.

Last year on my way to Bonneville I got off the road and took a 100 mile drive through the salt lake desert north of Bonneville. I just followed the GPS numbers. I took this pic about 25 miles north of the salt. JC

  20. This is on my work computer at the moment....

The repro texaco sign is on the front of the garage all year, but I add the old-school C9 lights over the door and the home-made illuminated wreath (made from found sprinkler piping covered in garland) for Christmas.

The one on my laptop at home would be frowned upon here! It's a retro-pin up style black & white photo of a very period correct looking gal in a lacy bra and panties on a bearskin rug. (My wife likes it too)

I've used this for a long time now. The blue still gets me, and the chrome accent is just right.

I don't use it anymore because it doesn't fit my new monitor's resolution but I still have a real J.J. desktop. Probably rarer than the HAMB shift knob by now. :D
