  1. I thought it was the angle of the gas pedal hooking up to that stock 327.

I have a Doug Nash 5 Speed I'm gonna list on fleabay soon.
It has the big bump on the side of it, so I think it's a "crash box"
    it has ratios of : 3.25:1 > 2.07:1>1.65:1>1.30:1>1:1
that is just counting turns on shafts, best guess at the ratios.
I also have a tough guy badass clutch, looks barely used, and steel flywheel for a chevy (no bellhousing)
we drove it down the road, came out of a 62 chevy drag car with 5.38:1 gears. and a mild small block.
the transmission and shifter worked good.
also has a billet output yoke, and a super badass inline shifter, (manufacturer is long)
looking to get somewhere in the neighborhood of 1800.00 for all of it.
if anyone is interested, gimme a call (314-440-1922) or e-mail me @ [email protected]

Damn!I wish I had talked to you a few weeks ago Steve.I just picked up a real nice Nash.If I had the cash available,I would definitely pick it up for a spare.

How are things going on your end?Hope all is going well.

You got me thinkin with all the talk about chassis dynos.....I found a local guy with one,so I'm gonna make some pulls, and let the motor tell me what it wants:)

Looking forward to meeting you at the Meltdown.:)

I included a few different styles...the curved ones might work nice on that T-Bolt style scoop.

Thanks Scott! I like the yellow with red pin strip that's slightly curved...! I'm having a hell of a time trying to find a good pic of T-bolt scoop with lightening bolt or engine size on it... I've found a couple pics, one was good view 427CI & gritty lightening bolt... ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1432564606.820579.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1432564627.828598.jpg

    hell yeah !! that's awesome !!!
gonna finish the new exhaust tonight, before the neighbors figure out I'm plugged in to their electric !!
should pick it up 2 or 3 tenths in the 1/4 mile, according to the internet.

  20. Been wondering where you were Steve! Glad to see you back. Since you are too far away to work on my 5/8 stroker block, its been dropped off at Johnny Thomas Racing for steel caps and block prep. Scott is scaring the sheet out of me with all his speed upgrades - need something extra to keep the Quick in Quick n Dirty

Scott, I don't know if it's going to be faster, stockish 306... I will say with the Weiand Tunnel Ram on her that RIC recommended she revs quite nicely now...! Revved her up in the garage & secondary's opened, my ears are still ringing...! LOL... I will say I can notice a difference between the M/T clog-ram & Weiand...!
I guess I'll be the all show & no go Ford for now Scott...! You can be the Ford that's up on 2 for now...!
    Jimbo...

Glad to hear you're ok and the damage is fixable.
I'm guessing you got caught in the rain and the slicks didn't play nice with the wet road?
