    The other thing your not factoring in is... that if any combination becomes dominant...they get a weight penalty(read 18-12 degree heads).

  3. The new 61229 Edelbrock is a stock port location 23' (will work with old school tunnel rams etc.) with a 275cc intake runner & 2.180-2.200 intake valve, (must use shaft rockers). We just got done digitizing the chamber for the dome profile, and getting valve locations from the mule head. We are getting some first articles for our engine around May hopefully. They should be ready for "general consumption" sometime in the summer. If SEG gave this head weight, they'd have to give some to 18' heads, and even more to Porters 11' heads, wouldn't ya think.

    The new rule is for all running that combo...they are trying to make the racing tighter.

    It runs in the high 8's it's fast it does have a skosh more hp than you but it does have a small block Chevy lol

    Haha it's outta your league it's blown injected actually it's the old engine out of his land speed car and it went over 250 mph hooley is a good guy and works with a very small budget I've known him for a very long time he is one you need to meet

    Im thinking a 57 Corvette body with Warren Johnson engineered 572 crate motor for starters:D
    But I like Small Block Chevys best, because of the cost to build.
