Hey Warbird , great "avatar" you have there52nd Fighter Group P-51's , I have a friend who's a 5 kill ace from this group, he's a great friend and I got to go flying with him once during an airshow, he owned a Navion and we went up during the show and flew in a race track pattern around the field along with some other warbirds , also went to som other local small fileds and did the same there !
I also got to paint some art on his Navion .

Also want to see my leather unit patch work check here,

Nose art on my AV8,from what is a 50% chance of being my uncle's A26. Even if it turns out not to be the right aircraft (and I've done a lot of searching), it is still an extremely humble tribute to the greatest generation.

    One of my favorite shirts.
I don't know how airplane nose art got associated with hot rods, but I guess it doesn't matter.
    It's all cool!

As of December 2013 , I now have 180+ various custom order Leather flying unit patch images in two albums to view, most have gone to WW2 veterans, some collectors/reeanactors and a few museums, if you have a "specific" WW2 era flying unit patch you want made please let me know as I can make just about any from that era, USAAF/USN/USMC of both "Offical" or "Unofficial" type .

Happy and Healthy New Year to all the Hambers !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Here's one my brother in law had painted on the nose of his B-25 Mitchell bomber that he piloted for 57 missions in the Pacific theater in WWII.

  16. The unofficial art of the 460th Bomb group, 15th USAAF in Italy.
My Dad spent 44-45 in Italy as a B-24 nose gunner, a Black Panther.
