Wanted to find missing Von Dutch striped 51 Mercury glove box door/lid.

    Mercules, If you decide to reproduce it, I can help with the knuckle dents. I'm real good at those. I've had a couple of dashes with almost identical dings. Good luck on finding the real deal, though. Sometimes the wheels turn slow, and all of a sudden you end up with three cherrys!

    I may be wrong on this, (the mind is going these days), but I'm thinking I remember seeing an episode of American Pickers where the guys picked up a Von Dutch striped glove box. Give Danielle a call. Worth a try anyway. Good Luck.

    I can't believe nobody on the HAMB has it, or knows who does. It sucks if they know you are looking, and won't at least admit they have it! Maybe they're a dumbass and painted over it, and just don't want to admit that they did! ;)

    Do you know who ended up with all the Von Dutch stuff when the big buck rod/custom museum in Nevada that went bust had the big auction? Maybe it ended up with whoever got most of that. Or Galpin Ford I think also has a large Von Dutch collection.....maybe there?

    Another next best thing option could be to tweak that photo of the actual one just enough so it could be transferred onto a vinyl wrap or something so it could be transferred onto another door???
