Technical want to convert to disc brakes junkyard parts

    1965 chevy c10 3/4 ton truck what disc brake sytem would work using junkyard part including master cylinder?

    78-87 front cross member should un bolt and bolt back in your frame. steering box and all. you will have to redrill the frame on the right side for the idler arm

    been too long! :)

    71-87 are pretty similar, all came with 5 lug disc brakes (2wd trucks), and you can adapt parts. It's not a direct bolt in, as the steering linkage is a bit smaller on the early trucks, control arm bushings changed, etc. The complete crossmember swap is probably the way to go, be prepared to mess with steering gear and idler arm mounting holes.
