Remember a fella here is So Cal that would kick start a twin engined Harley. Big George . Have picture from 1970 Bonneville after George lost a lot of weight and he decide to use a roller attached to his van to start his bike. I'll find it some day

..."The guitar is a good hobby John, but you'll never make any money at it" - John Lennon's aunt ...…. yeah accept if it wasn't for him eventually meeting McCarthy and Paul showing him actual real guitar chords instead of the limited banjo chords he only knew - she very well could of been right ….

    Caddy 57 Assembly Job.jpg
… this is the new X non box side rail frame, it allowed for a lower floor plan but would later prove to be a bugaboo in side vehicular impacts ….. ouch

… nice n easy folks. Say btw that Model 62 coupe body shell was the same used on a Buick Roadmaster that same year ….
    Caddy 57 Assembly Inspection Merry-Go-Round.jpg
… the idea of having a find-it, fix-it, find-it, fix-it then finally find-it, fix-it merry-go-round , this is why these cads tend to pull a little to the right at slower speeds ….
    Caddy 57 Assembly Final Inspection.jpg

In honor of the return of Redland Maggie and all her great Oregon posts, here comes a bunch of images courtesy of the yearbooks of Redmond High School. These should all be new to the H.A.M.B. (or at least these versions, all cleaned up, resized and enhanced for your viewing pleasure), so if you see 'em again, you saw 'em here first!
    Starting in 1947:

    Quick follow-up - one from Redmond's arch-rivals in Bend, circa 1966-67:

There is that fine line between tough and stupid again. I'm afraid I'm guilty of walking that many times in my life. Luckily it worked out for me most of the time

Dick Baannan was a Ford genius involved heavily in the Ford Racing program and the T Bolt. (more to come at a later date)

Dick Brannan's Street Rod The Summer of 1962 Photo in the yard at 545 East Angela. South Bend Indiana. SOLD
An all original 1932 Ford Roadster, one of the rarest and most popular vintage Fords. Dick Brannan completely restored it adding hydraulic brakes, lots of chrome and the 1957 312 cubic inch T-Bird engine. He had everything including the frame sand blasted before painting and re-assembly. It took Dick years because of the time he was away in the Navy.

All these were connected with Brannan
