For some reason, Butter Rums are hard to find around here. I found six rolls at Bi-Mart the other day, bought 'em all only to find out they had been on the shelf for quite a while. Love me some Butter Rums.

About the time somebody starts talking about something that's hard to find, you mysteriously start seeing it show up on that big auction site.

She definitely had more style with her car than I had with mine. Then again hers looks new and mine was used (hand me down from my older Brother).

Nothing worse than having your heart set on some sweet, delicious Life Savers only to find out they're old, stale and stuck together.

Ever have to break them apart an 1/8 of a ring at a time?

Speaking of pedal cars...I used to work for a John Deere dealer and one wall in the parts department had shelves with all the die cast toy tractors. On the floor were always a couple of the pedal tractors. The pedal tractors have always been die cast...No sheet metal bodies. One day a kid was riding the pedal tractor around the front of the parts department when he rammed it into the parts counter at speed. Busted up the paneling on the front pretty good but barely put a scratch on the pedal tractor.....LOL

French driver Jo Schlesser at the 1964 Daytona 500. He finished 13th. He was killed in the 1968 French Grand Prix (in an air cooled engine Honda) making his first Formula One start at the age of 40.
