Vintage shots from days gone by!

Louis Clements and Rex White (in car) with MKIIS test mule at the GM Arizona test track. Louis/Clements eventually built their own car for Daytona; this car was supplied to Smokey Yunick, and became the black 13 car that was driven by Johnny Rutherford. This according to Mike Clements, son of Louis.

Vintage wi-fi from days gone by?

 

good eye!

 

That shot brings back memories of painting the curbstones white about 3 times a year at the old Sunoco station, and putting in flat after flat of petunias every spring.

There were places I am sure, that the paint was close to a 1/2 inch thick.
