    Louis Clements and Rex White (in car) with MKIIS test mule at the GM Arizona test track. Louis/Clements eventually built their own car for Daytona; this car was supplied to Smokey Yunick, and became the black 13 car that was driven by Johnny Rutherford. This according to Mike Clements, son of Louis.

    Herren's Restaurant on Luckie Street, 1956. Herren's closed in 1987 after 53 years in business. Used to have the best cinnamon rolls in the world, or at least in Atlanta.

  19. That shot brings back memories of painting the curbstones white about 3 times a year at the old Sunoco station, and putting in flat after flat of petunias every spring.

    There were places I am sure, that the paint was close to a 1/2 inch thick.
