Many thanks to all who are posting the great pictures,I really like the ones from the early to mid 60s since that is when I started paying attention to what was out in the world and remember it well. Probably need to quit looking at these pictures since I would really like to find a time machine and go back and stay.

Centralia is still there, just doesn't look like that anymore. I imagine the Lewis or Toutle Rivers flooded a lot back then - can't remember what Mt. St. Helens did to it flooding-wise.

 

Back when banks used to pay you interest. I think the decimal has moved a couple of spaces to the left now a-days.
